Jean Michel Royer

"The man was like his work: discreet, sensitive and refined; and from his childlike face would emerge a gaze of great goodness" , would say Toni Clavé.

I leave you, companion readers, with this last image of Jacques Cordier, signed by a great painter wha was his friend. Not terribly "aesthetically correct", goodness? Too bad, there's nothing to be gained by picking at whether this was "aesthetically correct" or not! Clavé said what was essential : goodness. Full stop.
